HBO | VEEP: I Support Selina
In Season 3 of VEEP, Vice President Selina Meyer announces her presidential run for office. And like any good campaign effort, a good grassroots communication plan was necessary. And thus, ISupportSelina.com was born.
Fans of the show were able to visit a simple landing page (desktop or mobile) where they were prompted to call a number to show their support. After a brief message from Director of Communications, Mike, they receive a text message to continue to show their support. As a reward, they're given a custom image with their twitter profile image inserted (if they provided one). The text messaging opt in allowed us to maintain conversations and surprise fans with more phone calls and updates from the campaign trail.
